Outlook (2010-2011)

Jill Meyer comes back for her sophomore season after missing the entire 2009-2010 season with an injury. Meyer, a 6'1 post player, was named second team all-league in her senior campaign at Ponderosa High School.

Head Coach Rusty Rainbolt said Meyer could bring a big defensive ability to the Tornados.

"Jill has the potential to be an all-around presence inside for us. She has a great left hand and when she gets her hook shots working she is very hard to guard. Jill is a tireless worker and a sweetheart of a kid. Her positive energy and leadership helps out our team tremendously."

High School

Jill averaged 10 points and four rebounds as a senior on her way to team MVP honors at Ponderosa. She was a two-year starter for coach Holland Houchin and helped lead her team to a 16-9 record and spot in the Sweet 16. Meyer carried a 3.8 g.p.a in high school and named all-academic and was a part of the National Honor Society.

Outside of the court Jill was a letter winner on the cross-country, tennis and volleyball teams.
