Concordia Texas Athletics

Dan Wakeham joined the Concordia Texas women’s soccer staff ahead of the 2024 season. Originally from England, Wakeham brings a wealth of experience as both a coach and performance analyst, having worked with academy and professional players in the UK and the U.S.

Before Concordia, Wakeham served as Lead Academy Performance Analyst at Port Vale FC, where he supported the U18s with match analysis, technical coaching, and player development. He also coached with Lonestar SC in Austin, Texas, leading sessions for U11-U13 teams.

A former academy player at Bolton Wanderers and Port Vale FC, Wakeham moved to the U.S. to play collegiate soccer at St. Edward’s University, where he was a two-time captain and earned a degree in Kinesiology with a minor in Psychology.

He holds a UEFA B License and certifications in performance analysis and first aid. Wakeham is passionate about helping student-athletes grow on and off the pitch.
