Sophomore (2012)
Earned American Southwest Conference (ASC) Fall Academic Honor Roll accolades … started in all 18 matches … ranked third on the team with nine points … scored three goals and added a trio of assists … launched 41 shots, including 41 on goal … netted the game-winning score in the Tornados' 2-0 victory at Southwestern (Sept. 4) … posted a goal and an assist in Concordia Texas' 3-0 win at LeTourneau (Sept. 28).

Freshman (2011)
Appeared in all 20 matches, making 19 starts … racked up 17 points on seven goals, including two game-winning tallies, and three assists … finished second on the team in goals and points … recorded first two career goals, including the game winner, in a 3-2 come-from-behind win at Austin College (Sept. 11) … added first career assist in a 6-1 victory at McMurry (Sept. 17) … scored twice, including the game winner, to help the Tornados post a 5-0 victory over Ozarks (Oct. 22) … contributed an assist in a 2-1 win against Mississippi College (Oct. 27), which punched the team’s ticket to the ASC Tournament for the second consecutive season.

High School
Four-year letter winner as a midfielder at Hays High School … a three-time first-team all-district  … earned second-team all-district honors as a freshman … served as a team captain for multiple years … helped the squad record an undefeated 14-0 ledger in freshman season and a 13-1 mark during sophomore and senior campaigns … team also were district champions, co-district title winners, a regional semifinalist and regional quarterfinalist during four-year tenure … lettered in cross country for three years and track & field for two seasons … was a district champion in the two-mile (11:54) as a harrier and a regional finalist in the mile (5:49) in track & field … captained the cross country team and led the squad to a pair of district titles and a third-place finish in the district … an Honor Roll student and member of the National Honor Society … also an active participant with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA).

Daughter of Garland and Griselda New … has one brother, Henry New, and one sister, Priscila Leyva Mayo … majoring in kinesiology.
