ROUND ROCK, Texas -- The Concordia University Texas softball team erased a five-run deficit in the first game of a doubleheader and went on to score 21 runs on the day to claim the series win against Texas Lutheran on Saturday at Old Settlers Park. The Tornados (13-9, 10-2 ASC) won both games by scores of 11-5 and 10-7.

Texas Lutheran led 4-2 heading into the bottom of the fifth, but Concordia responded with five runs, capped off by a two-run round tripper from Rattan.
Staton (4-4) received her second win of the game after coming on in relief of #Lyssa Yates#, who was replaced after allowing seven runs, six of which were earned in five and one-thirds innings of work. Staton became the pitcher of record after CTX pushed across the three runs in the sixth.
