FARMERS BRANCH, Texas -- An 11th inning run by LeTourneau University led to a 6-5 loss for the Concordia University Texas softball team at the American Southwest Conference First Pitch Crossover Tournament on Saturday.  Later in the day, CTX (3-7) was downed by East Texas Baptist University 8-0.
In the opener, Concordia took at 5-4 lead after #Kassie Fuller# drove in a run in the 10th inning.  However, the Tornados were unable to hold on to the lead as the Yellow Jackets plated a run to tie the game in the bottom half of the 10th.  LeTourneau went on to score the game-winning run in the 11th as a throwing error allowed the runner from second to advance home.
Fuller went 4-for-5 with three runs batted in against the Yellow Jackets.
Overall, the East Division dominated the crossover by winning 21-of-the-28 games.  Concordia picked up one of the West Division's seven wins on Friday with a 9-1 decision over Ozarks.
The Tornados will return home to play Schreiner University at Old Settlers Park in Round Rock on Friday, Mar. 12 and Saturday, Mar. 13 in the first conference games of the season.
