The Tornados (1-0) posted a 129-127 victory over Huston-Tillotson on Nov. 15.
Dwayne Patterson and
Josh Sanchez combined for 81 points to help Concordia Texas hold off a late charge by the Rams. Patterson racked up a double-double that included a career-best 38 points to go along with 12 rebounds, while Sanchez poured in 33 points and dished out six assists.

The Mountaineers (1-3), who left the ASC for the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference in July, picked up their first win of the campaign last Saturday, as the squad held on for a 73-72 victory at Hardin-Simmons. Schreiner started the year with three consecutive losses to Pacific Lutheran (Nov. 15), Pugent Sound (Nov. 16) and Mary Hardin-Baylor (Nov. 20).
