TYLER, Texas – The Concordia University Texas softball team was swept in a doubleheader by No. 3 Texas-Tyler on Friday at Suddenlink Field. The Patriots won both contests in five innings – 10-0 in the first contest and 14-0 in the nightcap.

The Tornados (15-18, 12-14 ASC) were no-hit in the opener and had only one hit in the second game.

Hanna Contreras had Concordia Texas' only hit of the day, a second-inning single in the nightcap.

The two teams will wrap up the series at 1 p.m. Saturday.
