ROUND ROCK, Texas – The Concordia University Texas softball team split its final doubleheader of the regular season against LeTourneau on Saturday at Old Settlers Park. The Tornados won the opener, 5-4, but dropped the nightcap, 9-6.

Prior to the doubleheader, Concordia Texas honored its three seniors – Katie Carrizales, Alexis Lynn and Jessica Parish.

Jenna Franz hit two home runs in the second contest, while the Tornados pounded out 10 hits.

Concordia wraps up the regular season as the No. 7 seed at next week's American Southwest Conference Tournament. CTX will open the double-elimination tournament against No. 2 seed and seventh-ranked East Texas Baptist at 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 1, in Tyler, Texas.
