AUSTIN, Texas – The Concordia University Texas softball team will host No. 10 East Texas Baptist in a three-game American Southwest Conference series this weekend at Cedar Park High School's softball field. The set opens with a 4 p.m. doubleheader on Friday and will conclude with a single game at 11 a.m. the following day.
The Tornados (15-13, 12-9 ASC) took two of three games from rival Mary Hardin-Baylor last weekend in Belton. Concordia Texas enters the weekend in sixth place in the league standings, one game back of Hardin-Simmons for fifth.
The Tornados' lineup has been one of the top offensive threats in the conference with a .322 batting average this spring.
