TYLER, Texas – The seventh-seeded Concordia University Texas softball team had its season ended on Thursday night with a 9-0 loss to No. 8 seed LeTourneau in an American Southwest Conference Tournament elimination game at Suddenlink Field.

The YellowJackets (17-25) scored a run in each of the first two innings, four in the fourth, one in the sixth and two more in the seventh to claim the victory.

The Tornados (17-25) were limited to four hits in the game.

Taylor Thibodeaux (8-7) went the distance, striking out four to earn the shutout.

LeTourneau advances to play the loser of Louisiana College and Texas-Tyler matchup in another elimination game at 4 p.m. Friday.
