AUSTIN, Texas – The Concordia University Texas women's basketball team suffered a 71-54 setback to Texas-Dallas on Thursday at Concordia Fieldhouse.

Three Comets (12-2, 8-1 ASC) reached double figures, led by Amber Brown's 17 points.

Isis Johnson tallied a game-high 19 points and eight rebounds to pace the Tornados (5-8, 4-5 ASC). Nadine Fadelle added 10 points.

Concordia Texas, which only turned the ball over six times, was limited to 32.3 percent (21-of-65) from the floor, including just 10 percent (1-for-10) from beyond the arc.

Texas-Dallas hit 43.6 percent (24-of-55) of its shots from the field. The Comets also knocked down all 19 of their free throw attempts.

The Tornados will look to bounce back on Saturday against Hardin-Simmons. Tip-off is scheduled for 1 p.m.
