AUSTIN, Texas – Andre Potts scored a career-high 32 points, and the Concordia University Texas men's basketball team rolled to a 114-97 victory over I-35 rival Mary Hardin-Baylor on Monday night at Concordia Fieldhouse.
WHERE THEY STAND• The Tornados won for the ninth time in their last 10 games and improved to 12-6 overall (8-5 ASC).
• The Cru dropped to 13-5 overall (10-3 ASC).
HOW IT HAPPENED• Concordia Texas knocked down a season-high 17 3-pointers in the victory, including 12 in the first half.
• CTX shot 56.5 percent from the field, including 53.1 percent from behind the three-point line.

Josh Sanchez netted 20 of his 22 points in the opening half, including 15 from beyond the arc.
• Twenty-four of Potts' 32 points came from downtown. The senior guard was 10-of-18 from the floor, including 8-for-12 from beyond the arc. He also knocked down 4-of-5 free-throw attempts.

Rashad Coleman tallied 16 points, while
Terry Corprew added eight and dished out seven assists.
• The Tornados led 60-49 at halftime.
• Concordia held a lead for 38:03 in the contest.
• UMHB scored the first two points of the second half, cutting the lead to nine, but CTX scored the next seven and never lost its double-digit advantage the rest of the way.
