PINEVILLE, La. – Louisiana College shot 54.7 percent from the field, including 67.9 percent in the second half, and the Wildcats rolled to a 103-80 victory over the Concordia University Texas men's basketball team on Thursday night at H.O. West Fieldhouse.
WHERE THEY STAND• The Tornados saw their three-game winning streak come to an end, as the squad fell to 12-7 overall (8-6 ASC).
• The Wildcats improved to 9-7 overall (9-4 ASC).
HOW IT HAPPENED• Louisiana College had a 43-36 lead at halftime.
• Concordia Texas pulled within 51-46 after
Terry Corprew hit a layup with 17:06 to play in the game.
• The Wildcats responded with an 11-1 run that pushed the lead to 15.
• After the Tornados scored six consecutive to trim the lead to nine, LC answered with a 7-0 burst that put the advantage back to double digits.
• CTX again was able to pull within nine (76-67) with 8:27 to play, but the Wildcats used a 6-0 spurt to get their double-digit advantage back for good.
• Three Tornados reached double figures, led by
Rashad Coleman's 15 points.

Ben Page scored a season-best 12.
• Anthony Gaines Jr. paced LC with a double-double of 22 points and 13 rebounds.
