LONGVIEW, Texas – The Concordia University Texas men's basketball team rallied in the second half to upend LeTourneau 80-76 on Thursday night at Solheim Arena.
WHERE THEY STAND• Concordia Texas, which won for the 10th time in its last 12 outings, improved to 13-7 overall (9-6 ASC).
• The Tornados remain in seventh place in the ASC standings, just one-half game behind Texas-Dallas.
• The YellowJackets lost their fifth consecutive contest and dropped to 5-15 overall (3-12 ASC).
HOW IT HAPPENED• LeTourneau built a 10-point lead in the first half, but CTX cut it to 32-30 by halftime.
• The lead changed seven times in the second half, but the Tornados pushed in front for good when
Josh Sanchez buried a 3-pointer with 6:08 to play, putting CTX up 64-62.
• The YellowJackets remained close the rest of the way. Kelley Schimming hit a jumper with 11 seconds left to trim the lead to 78-76.

Andre Potts sank two free throws on the ensuing possession to clinch the contest.
HIGHLIGHTS• Three Tornados reached double figures, led by Sanchez's 17 points.
