AUSTIN, Texas – The Concordia University Texas men's basketball team used a 16-6 run in the second half to pull away from Ozarks en route to a 98-86 win on Thursday night at Concordia Fieldhouse.
WHERE THEY STAND• The Tornados moved to 14-8 overall (10-7 ASC).
• The Eagles dropped to 8-15 overall (4-14 ASC).
HIGHLIGHTS• Concordia Texas shot 48.1 percent from the field, including 50 percent in the second half.
• The Tornados assisted on 28 of their 38 made baskets.
• Concordia also forced 21 turnovers.
• Five CTX players reached double figures, led by
Josh Sanchez's 17 points.

Brett DeMetrotion tallied 15 points off the bench, including nine at the free-throw line.
• Andrew Potts scored 13 points, while
Terry Corprew added a dozen.

Rashad Coleman added 10 points and dished out six assists.
HOW IT HAPPENED• Leading 68-66 with 10:38 to play, Concordia used a 12-4 run to increase its advantage to double digits.
• After a pair of made free throws by Ozarks, the Tornados reeled off a 10-0 run to take a 90-72 lead with 5:31 remaining.
• CTX cruised the rest of the way, scoring eight of the final 22 points.
COMING UP NEXT• The Tornados will host Texas-Tyler in the final home game of the regular season.
