AUSTIN, Texas – The Concordia University Texas women's basketball team snapped a four-game losing streak with a 68-57 victory over Ozarks on Thursday evening at Concordia Fieldhouse.
WHERE THEY STAND• The Tornados improved to 8-13 overall (7-10 ASC).
• The Lady Eagles slipped to 10-13 overall (6-12 ASC).
HIGHLIGHTS• Three CTX players reached double figures, led by
Isis Johnson's 18 points. Johnson also grabbed 12 rebounds to compete the double-double.

Camille Horman scored 15 of her 17 points in the first half. Horman knocked down four 3-pointers in the win.

Ashlyn Ward buried three triples en route to scoring 12 points. Ward also led the squad with four steals in 33 minutes of action.
HOW IT HAPPENED• Concordia Texas blew open a two-point game with an 11-0 run in the first half. The score was 16-14 when the run began. Horman connected on a trio of 3-pointers during the spurt.
• The Tornados pushed their advantage to 36-16 before halftime when Ward hit a 3-pointer.
• CTX increased its lead to 27 points (49-22) in the opening five minutes of the second half.
• The Tornados held on to the double-digit advantage throughout the rest of the contest.
COMING UP NEXT• Concordia will close out its home slate on Saturday, as the squad hosts No. 10 Texas-Tyler.
