LONGVIEW, Texas – LeTourneau overcame an 10-point deficit in the final 10 minutes to edge the Concordia University Texas women's basketball team 68-67 on Thursday evening at Solheim Arena.
WHERE THEY STAND• The Tornados dropped their third consecutive game and fell to 7-12 overall (6-9 ASC).
• Concordia Texas sits in seventh place in the ASC standings, just one-half game ahead of Ozarks and two in front of LeTourneau and East Texas Baptist.
• The YellowJackets improved to 6-14 overall (4-11 ASC).
HOW IT HAPPENED• LeTourneau held a 47-44 lead with 13:10 left in the second half, but the Tornados used a 15-2 run to take a 10-point advantage.
• The YellowJackets chipped away at the lead over the next five minutes, pulling within 61-60 on Rebecca Stewart's jumper in the paint.
• LeTourneau then took the lead on Bria Goodman's free throws on its next possession.
• CTX briefly reclaimed a 65-64 advantage when
Isis Johnson connected on a short jumper with 2:29 to play.
• However, the YellowJackets answered on the next trip down the floor on another Stewart bucket. The hosts scored four of the final six points of the game to clinch the win.
• The Tornados shot 45 percent (27-of-60) from the field, including 45.5 percent (5-for-11) from beyond the arc. CTX also connected on 8-of-11 (72.7 percent) of its free-throw attempts.
• LeTourneau, which shot just 36.2 percent (21-of-58) from the floor, knocked down 23-of-29 attempts (79.3 percent) from the charity stripe.
HIGHLIGHTS• Johnson led Concordia with 17 points in 18 minutes of action.

Kia Love tallied 10 points on 4-of-5 shooting from the field, including 2-for-2 from the free-throw line.
