BROWNWOOD, Texas -- The Concordia Texas men's tennis team earned a 9-0 win over Howard Payne Saturday.
The Tornados (1-1) took home 8-0 wins in the first two doubles flights and an 8-2 win in the third.
Gabriel Borunda took home a 6-1, 6-0 victory at the top flight singles. CTXearned 6-0, 6-0 sweeps at the No. 5 and No. 6 lines, with
Micah Austin and
Jack Proctor reaping the benefits.
Concordia returns to action Feb. 5 at the Schreiner Spring Kickoff Tournament. Their opponents are still to be determined.
