RICHARDSON, Texas -- The Concordia Texas men's tennis team fell 5-1 to East Texas Baptist Thursday afternoon in the first round of the ASC Tennis Tournament, held at UT Dallas.

The lone Tornados point came from Gabriel Borunda and Iosua Malaki at No. 1 doubles. The Tigers took the two doubles matches and won the race to five with a pair of victories in singles.

The season marked Concordia's first in seven years and it was also the first time CTX appeared in the ASC Tournament in program history.

The Tornados finish the season with their best record in program history at 6-13.
