SEGUIN, Texas – The Concordia Texas men's soccer team defeated Texas Lutheran 3-0 Saturday night thanks to a consistent, aggressive attack.

Rolando Hernandez's mammoth shot from near the circle into the top corner of the net late in the first half got the scoring started for the Tornados (4-1).

With a 1-0 lead into the break, the CTX defense got into the scoring column thanks to aggressive attacks from Nash Cole and Eric Bigon in the second half.

Cole's goal came in the 65th minute and Bigon's 85th minute. Cole's came on a feed from Diego Outerial off a free kick while Bigon's came off of one of 12 corners in the second half alone.

The CTX backline limited the Bulldogs (0-4) to just one shot, which was stopped by keeper Jesus Barrera for his third clean sheet of the season.
