AUSTIN, Texas – Facing Mary-Hardin Baylor on Saturday,
Pamela Lasprilla scored the lone goal for the Concordia Texas women's soccer team, falling 6-1.
The Tornados (8-6, 4-5 ASC) would finish the night with 12 shots, nine coming on goal.
Shelby Franco, in goal for CTX, recorded six saves.
UMHB (13-0-1, 8-0-1 ASC), undefeated in conference play, would score the game's first three goals, taking a 3-0 lead to halftime.
The Tornados would start the scoring in the second half though as
Pamela Lasprilla headed in the ball into the back of the net as
Delaney Kennedy found her on the cross pass in the 54th minute and CTX trailed 3-1.
The Cru would score three more goals in the second half to take the game 6-1 over the Tornados.
Up next, CTX will travel to Abilene, Texas to face Hardin-Simmons on Oct. 19 at 1 p.m.
