ABILENE, Texas – The Concordia Texas volleyball team's win streak ended at three games as they fell short against Hardin-Simmons on Tuesday, losing in straight sets.
Marissa Stinson led the Tornados (5-4, 2-1 ASC) with seven kills while
Georgia Quiroz reached double figures in assists with 12.
CTX would record 10 kills as a team in the first set but the Cowgirls would take the first set 25-19. After falling in the second set 25-12, the Tornados seek to rally from a two-set deficit. In the final set, the CTX would help force 11 HSU errors, but were unable to force a fourth set, losing 25-22 and concluding the match.
The Tornados will next travel to Longview, Texas for the first of two American Southwest Conference Crossover tournaments this season, where they will face East Texas Baptist and Belhaven on Friday at 10 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. respectively.
