Kaycee Moore and
Victoria Herrera combined for two goals to help the Concordia Texas women's soccer team take home a 2-1 comeback win over Belhaven Thursday at the Belhaven Bowl.
After falling behind 1-0 in the 24th minute, Moore, a sophomore from Azle, Texas, tied it up in the 40th minute off an assist from Herrera. The Tornados took the lead in the 88th minute when Herrera found Moore once again as CTX moved to 6-4, 2-3 in ASC play.
The goals for Moore were her fifth and sixth of the season while the two assists for Herrera were her first of the year.
The Tornados have now won back-to-back thrillers after taking home a 3-2 overtime win over Ozarks on Saturday.
Shelby Franco picked up the win in goal and racked up five saves while playing all 90 minutes.
As a team, CTX registered 12 shots, nine of which were on goal.
Next up, the Tornados will head to Pineville, La. to take on Louisiana College on Saturday at 11 a.m.
