ABILENE, Texas –
Ben Page recorded his second straight double-double with a 27-point, 13-rebound performance in Concordia Texas men's basketball's 100-73 win over McMurry on Thursday.
Page scored 27 points on 11-18 shooting from the floor, tying his career-high, which was set in the Tornados' last matchup against the War Hawks on Feb. 18, 2017.
Concordia Texas shot 50 percent from the field as a team with four Tornados scoring in double figures.
Ephriam Price III and
Joshua Samuels got CTX off to a hot start in the first half, knocking down the team's first six three-pointers of the game and shooting out to a quick double-digit lead.
Samuels finished with 18 points on 6-10 shooting from behind the arc, while Price III had 17 points.
The Tornados would build a 30-point lead at one point, and led 57-33 at the half.
In the second half, CTX maintained their double-digit lead, led by
Ronnie Hamilton, who finished with 14 points, and cruised to a 100-73 win. It was their fifth 100-point game of the season.
With the win, the Tornados have now won three straight and seven of their last eight games.
Up next, CTX will look to push their win streak to four when they face Hardin-Simmons on Saturday at 4 p.m.
