BELTON, Texas – The Concordia Texas women's soccer team would hold Mary Hardin-Baylor scoreless in the first half, but were unable to buy a goal, falling to the Cru 5-0 on Friday.
The Tornados would test UMHB early on in the first half, firing off three shots, all on goal, but could not find the back of the net.

Shelby Franco, meanwhile, had five saves in the first half to keep UMHB at bay and the teams were knotted up at 0-all at the midway point.
In the second half, the Cru would pull away, scoring five goals in the second half. Concordia Texas would record a shot, but were unable to score, falling 5-0.
Franco would tie her career high with 12 saves in the game.
Up next, the Tornados will celebrate senior night on Thursday when they will host McMurry at 5 p.m. at the Round Rock Multipurpose Complex in Round Rock, Texas.
