ROUND ROCK, Texas –
Savannah McHam scored her first career goal as the Concordia Texas women's soccer team opened American Southwest Conference play with a 4-1 loss to LeTourneau Thursday at Round Rock Multipurpose Complex.
McHam, a freshman out of Burnet, Texas, found the back of the net in the 74th minute to become the second straight freshman to score in a game for the Tornados this season after

The Yellow Jackets (5-0-1, 1-0-0) opened the scoring in the 14th minute when Reagan Sanford put one in on a breakaway.
Sanford also scored the second goal of the game for Letourneau on a penalty kick in the 48th minute.
In total, CTX out-shot the Yellow Jackets 15-12 while also holding an 8-7 advantage in shots on goal.
Next up, the Tornados will look to get their first ASC win as they play host to East Texas Baptist University at 1:00 p.m. Saturday in Round Rock.
