ROUND ROCK, Texas – Six different Tornados would score as the Concordia Texas women's soccer scored a season-high six goals in a 6-0 shutout win over Louisiana College on Thursday.
The Tornados would fire off 30 shots in the game with nearly half being on frame, while limiting the Wildcats to only three shots.
In the first half, CTX would score a pair of goals, the first one coming off a free kick by
Skylar Larkin that would slip through LC's goalie's hands and into the net.
Alyssah Lugo would double the lead towards the end of the half as she received the pass from
Emily Newton, taking it to the middle of the field, just outside the box and firing it into the top-right corner of the net.
The Tornados would continue to attack in the second half as
Pamela Lasprilla would score her third goal of the year after a beautiful through ball from
Cayla Gonzalez, shooting past the goalie.
Newton would pick up her second assist of the game thanks to a goal from
Kaycee Moore, who would collide with the Wildcats' goalie on the pass and knock it into the net.
In the final 10 minutes of the game,
Ana Sofia Elizondo and
Lauren Sumner would each record their first career goals to finish off LC with a 6-0 win.

Shelby Franco, it was her second shutout of 2018.
