Tornados fall at home to Mary Hardin-Baylor

AUSTIN, Texas – The Concordia Texas women's soccer team fell in the second match of their three-game home stand to Mary Hardin-Baylor 5-0 on Friday.

Kylie Bowman held steady in the goal in the first half, recording five saves and not allowing a goal despite 10 shots from UMHB in the first 45 minutes.

Kallie Krenz fired the Tornados' first shot of the match in the 15th minute, followed by an attempt from Patricia Heckendorn in the 20th minute. Cayla Gonzalez recorded the only shot on-goal for CTX, launching it to the top left corner in the 34th minute but coming away empty due to save from the UMHB keeper.

After a scoreless first half, the Crusaders struck for three quick goals in the first 9 minutes of the half. They added two more scores in the 72nd and 83rd minutes of the match, and the Tornados came out on the wrong end of a 5-0 game.
