ABILENE, Texas - The Concordia Texas men's tennis program shined over the past weekend at the ITA Regional hosted by Hardin-Simmons University. Grad senior Joshua Bode made an appearance in the Flight A championship match, and Andres Padilla also placed second in the flight's singles consolation bracket at the Streich Tennis Center.

Bode was elite on the court as he posted a combined singles and doubles record of 7-2. Bode was paired with Adrian Munguia where they made it to quarterfinals on day three. Munguia also saw success in singles action with an appearance in the round of 16 in Flight A.

After Padilla dropped his first match on the weekend, he bounced back exceptionally well as he did not lose another set until the championship match on Sunday.

Evan Pena and Kade Talbot picked up one win each in Flight A, while Kevin Morales tallied one win in Flight B.

In doubles action, Morales and Andre Nguyen made a quarterfinals appearance in Flight B.

The ITA Invitational concludes the fall season for CTX women's tennis.
