AUSTIN, Texas - A trio of Tornados reached double figures in a 96-79 loss to St. Thomas. Senior big man Antoine Henderson led the way with 18 points and seven rebounds, while freshman guard Jaylon Johnson posted a career-high five threes to add to his 17 points, seven assists and three steals inside the Concordia Fieldhouse on Saturday.

Both teams traded baskets throughout most of the first half for a 29-29 score at the under-eight minute media timeout. The Celts would gain separation with a 9-2 run. With time waning down in the first half, Dylen Scales (5 points, 2 steals) would find DJ Pigford (14 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists) for a wing three to make it a 44-39 game right before time expired.

Both teams would tally runs as they Concordia would cut the deficit to 73-67 with 6:25 left. St. Thomas would then put the game on ice with an 8-0 flurry to help secure the victory.
