                    BOX SCORE SHERMAN, Texas – 
Joshua Bode and 
Adrian Munguia recorded an 8-0 win at line one doubles and the Concordia Texas men's tennis team picked up their first win of the season, taking down Austin College in a 9-0 sweep on Sunday.
The Tornados played their second match in as many days, facing the Roos in a non-conference contest.
In doubles, CTX was dominant, dropping only three games between the three matches.
At line one, Bode and Munguia cruised to an 8-0 decision. 
Esteban Arredondo and 
Andres Padilla followed with another win, picking up an 8-2 victory at line two. 
Nico De La Pena and 
Evan Pena Jr. made it 3-0 in the match, winning at line three 8-1.
In singles, it was all Tornados, winning every match. Bode and Munguia snagged victories at line one and two, respectively. Padilla followed suit with a win at line three, while De La Pena picked up a victory at line four.
Concordia Texas wrapped up the shutout as 
Jorge Garcia secured a 6-2, 6-1 win at line five, while 
Jesse West grabbed a 6-1, 6-0 victory at line six.
Next, the Tornados will face Texas Lutheran in their home opener on Friday with first serve set for noon at the Austin Tennis Academy in Austin, Texas.
