ROUND ROCK, Texas - The Concordia Texas women's soccer team fought to a 0-0 draw against the Our Lady of the Lake Saints in their home opener. Both defenses were stout as there were a combined 26 saves at the Round Rock Multipurpose Complex on Sunday.
Sophomore goalkeeper
Lora Tresco posted a season-high eight saves on the day. Fourth-year forward
Kaley Kaspar almost broke free on the scoring column on two separate occasions.
The Tornados were superb on the back half as defenders
Kaelyn Riley and
Addie Hackney both secured clutch blocks on shot attempts late in the second half.
CTX will next host Texas Lutheran on Wednesday with kickoff set for 7 p.m.
