AUSTIN, Texas - Concordia Texas seniors Sarah Ghormley (18 digs, 13 kills) and Kinsy Haschke (16 digs, 13 kills) posted double-doubles in a 3-1 loss to the LeTourneau University Yellowjackets. Alyssa Legette (game-high 23) and Selena Cooper (17) tallied double-digit assists, while Kaitlyn Ruiz reached 16 digs inside the Concordia Fieldhouse on Saturday.

With the score tied 7-7 in the first set, LETU used a 7-2 run to gain separation. CTX would inch their way back into the matchup to make it 23-21 game, but the Yellowjackets held on for a 25-21 victory. Set two was knotted up at 9-9 when LETU surged to a 21-14 advantage. A kill by Ghormley initiated a 4-0 run for the Tornados, but the Yellowjackets ultimately took a 2-0 lead in the match. 

CTX dominated in set three where a Darby Stowers kill capped off a 9-3 sprint. LETU closed the gap to 11-8, but a kill by Rayna Pack punctuated a 12-2 run to help give the Tornados the victory in set three.

The Tornados were down 10-8 midway through the fourth set when the Yellowjackets broke away with a 14-3 run. CTX would score the next three points, but LETU found the final point for the match victory.
