Women's Soccer Duels to Draw Against UT Dallas

Kaley Kaspar scored in the first minute of the second half.

ROUND ROCK, Texas - The Concordia Texas women's soccer team fought to a 1-1 draw against UT Dallas. Kaley Kaspar powered the 46th minute goal to put the Tornados on the scoreboard inside the Round Rock Multipurpose Complex on Thursday.

The Tornados had to prime opportunities in the early minutes as shots by Kallie Krenz & Erin Folkner were on target by saved. Both teams would get off good shots throughout the first half, but neither would be able to breakthrough heading into the intermission.

CTX got on the scoreboard in the first minute of the second half when an Addi Taylor lead pass connected with Kaspar for the score. Concordia had another chance to up the lead with two jukes and an open shot by Addie Hackney that sailed just high off the crossbar.

The Comets knotted the match up in the 82nd after a ricocheted ball found their forward for the equalizer. The Tornados saw final final chance late when a cross from Taylor barely missed Krenz for the game winner header.

Concordia Texas will now host the University of the Ozarks for Senior Day in the regular season home finale on Saturday, October 14th at 1 p.m.
