SAN ANTONIO, Texas - Concordia Texas grad student Joshua Bode entered the ITA Regional Champion as the number one overall seed in singles action and won the four-day, 6-match competition.

Winning the ITA Regional has resulted in a berth to Nationals next week and automatic All-American Status for this season. Bode dominated in singles actions as he won five out of six matches in two sets with only the championship match going to a final set.

Multiple Tornados also saw promising results. Rookie Chase Scholz shined in his first collegiate action. The Houston native almost made it an all-CTX finals as he battled to the semifinals of the singles championship.

Also excelling at the tournament was the team of Esteban Arredondo and Kishan Kersten who made it to the final four of doubles play in their first action as a team. In another doubles bracket, the duo of Diego Cromeens and Daniel Beckles earned a quarterfinals finish in draw B of doubles.
