SAN ANTONIO, Texas - The Concordia Texas volleyball team fell 3-0 against #11 Trinity University. Kaitlyn Ruiz led the charge for the Tornados with 16 assists and eight digs inside the Bell Center on Wednesday.

The Tigers led 10-9 midway through the first set before using a 5-0 run to claim the game at 25-18. 

They then led 7-6 early in the second set when another 5-0 burst gave them a cushion prior to a kill by Camryn Parker ending the slide. Trinity would ultimately go up 2-0 with a 25-15 win.

The Tigers won the first five points of the final set, before a kill by Rayna Pack sparked a 7-1 run to give Concordia the lead. Holding a slim 12-10 advantage, Trinity pulled away with a 7-1 run to help win 25-17.

Concordia Texas will now return home for conference action where they will host Sul Ross State this Friday, Oct. 6th at 6pm.
