BEVERLY, Mass.- The Concordia University Texas men's soccer team came up short on the road, 0-1, in a tough battle against Endicott University. Jose Aguirre led the team with three shots, while Jonathan De La Torre attempted two shots inside Hempstead Stadium on Friday.

Senior goalie Joshua Redding, played all 90 minutes and collected three saves on the night.

Both teams were aggressive on offense, totaling 10 shots apiece. The Tornados racked up six corner kicks while the Gulls only secured two.

Enidcott notched a goal in the 73rd minute to take the lead. In search of the equalizer with one minute left, Jesse Garfias almost managed to tie the game with a header but the Gulls' goalie held firm to secure the win.

CTX will now travel to Wenhan, Massachusetts to face up against Gordon college on Sunday, September 3rd at 6PM.
