Kallie Krenz Scores Twice as Women's Soccer Ties at Trinity

The senior forward fired the second half equalizer for the Tornados.

SAN ANTONIO, Texas - Concordia Texas forward Kallie Krenz was on fire as she powered two goals in a 2-2 draw at Trinity University. The senior scored the opening goal and the equalizer inside of McGinlay Field on Wednesday.

CTX struck first when Erin Folkner stole the ball away and placed a lead pass to Krenz in the 18th minute. Trinity reached the scoreboard 20 minutes later with a goal to send the game into the half tied.

The Tigers would then take the lead early in the second half when a foul inside of the box resulted in a successful penalty kick. Concordia's equalizer would come in the 67th when Patricia Heckendorn lobbed an entry pass for Krenz to tap in. With action progressing, both teams would duel but neither would find the go-ahead goal.

Concordia Texas will now head to Seguin, Texas to take on Texas Lutheran in the final non-conference tune-up on Monday, Sept. 25th at 7:30 p.m.
