ROUND ROCK, Texas - The Concordia Texas men's soccer team was upended in a 3-0 contest against fifth-ranked Colorado College. It was a close match throughout as both teams were tied through 75 minutes at the Round Rock Multipurpose Complex on Friday.
The Tornados were the aggressors in the first half as they fired more shot attempts (7-3). Threatening to score, Alejandro Rojas & Gustavo Hernandez both have shots narrowly saved by the opposing goalkeeper.
As both teams exited the intermission knotted up at 0-0, Colorado College found rhythm offensively thanks to counterattacks. Their first goal would come off a free kick just outside the top of the box in the 77th. They would then add two more goals in the waning minutes to secure the victory.
Concordia Texas will look to bounce back in a key conference matchup this Sunday at 1pm.
