AUSTIN, Texas - The Concordia Texas volleyball team was downed 3-0 in a SCAC contest against Schreiner University. On a day where

Dani Wysocki were all honored pregame for Senior Day, all three sets were decided by three points or less.
Brooklynne Fitzgerald (14 kills) &
Selena Cooper (29 assists) posted match-highs inside the CTX Fieldhouse on Friday.
The first set featured numerous lead changes as a kill by
Camryn Parker tied the game up at 25-25. The Mountaineers would then score the final two points to claim game one.Â
CTX would answer with a 12-5 run; capped off by a back-to-back kills by
Malarie Mican. Schreiner would chip away at the deficit and tie the set up at 18-all. With the game tied at 22-apiece, the Mountaineers would escape with a 25-23 win.
Game three was similar to the first two sets as both teams traded runs for a 20-20 score late in the set. Schreiner would rattle off five of the final seven points to escape with the victory.
Concordia Texas will remain home as they will host a SCAC Crossover event this Friday and Saturday. CTX will first match up with Austin College on Friday, November 8th at 7pm.
