SEGUIN, Texas - The Concordia Texas women's soccer team's seven-match unbeaten streak came to a halt in a 1-0 defeat against Texas Lutheran. The Tornados will have a chance to avenge the loss immediately this Friday in the SCAC Tournament Semifinal match against the Bulldogs.

In what was a gritty matchup between the two teams, Texas Lutheran netted the game winner in the 25th minute. With action progressing through the rest of the match, both teams had a few scoring opportunities but the match would hold steady for a 1-0 result. 

Concordia Texas will now enter the SCAC Tournament as the 3-seed as they will take on Texas Lutheran in Houston at the SaberCats Stadium at 2:30pm.
