BELTON, Texas - The Concordia Texas men's basketball team fell in a 84-62 road contest against UMHB. Adolfo Martinez & Joey Ramirez led the Tornados with 12 points each inside the Mayborn Campus Center.

The Crusaders jumped out to a 16-7 lead through the first eight minutes of the game. Their lead in the first half would reach as much as 15 points, but Sire Mauvais would find Martinez in the corner for a three to spark a 12-4 burst to the end the half for a 35-28 score.

UMHB outscored CTX 23-8 through the first seven and a half minutes of the second for a 58-37 advantage. Hot shooting and good defense by Concordia would spark a furious rally where a pull up three by Aaron San Miguel reduced the deficit to 60-55 with 7:10 left in the game. The Crusaders answered with a 24-7 run to end the game and claim the victory. 

Concordia Texas will now have a few weeks off before hosting the CTX Holiday Classic on December 29-30.
