The game was evenly matched early on as the score was knotted up at 34-all with 5:50 remaining in the first half. The Tornados would use a 13-3 run that was capped off with a thunderous dunk by Stafford to carry a 47-37 advantage into the half.Â
The Tornados' lead reached as much as 15 points early in the second half, before the Warhawks would make their comeback. The Tornados led through the majority of the second half, until a free throw line jumper knotted the game up at 81-apiece with 35 seconds left. Following a stop by McMurry, they executed an out-of-bounds play for a mid-range jumper that was true at the buzzer.Â

Concordia Texas will now shift their focus to the ASC Tournament where they have clinched a spot in the first round. They will head to Longview, Texas to take on LeTourneau University this Tuesday, February 20th at 7pm.Â
