AUSTIN, Texas - The Concordia Texas men's basketball team fell in a non-conference bout by a score of 86-71 to Sul Ross State University. Junior Donovan Stafford led the way with 18 points, while freshman Henri Marcus Vizcarrondo Jr. corralled 10 boards on Saturday.

Fast paced action saw a 23-21 score at 11:50mark of the first half. The Tornados' offense would stall as the Lobos went on a 12-0 run. They would then push their lead to as much as 16, before a layup by Stafford made it a 46-32 game going into the half. 

Both teams traded runs through the first few minutes of the second half as The Tornados  reduced a 21-point deficit in half when Adonai Rezene knocked down a three-ball in the corner with just over five minutes to play. CTX would be unable to get it within single digits as Sul Ross State earned the victory.
