MARSHALL, Texas - The Concordia Texas softball was bested in a pair of matchups with number four East Texas Baptist University.
Game One: L, 8-0 (5 Innings)
ETBU scored two runs in the first, before adding another in the third. Concordia put two runners in scoring position in the top of the third with a pair of hits and steals by Christian Everett & Kylie Denaro, but the Tigers would come out the frame unscathed. They then collected three more runs in the third, before earning the victory with two more runs in the bottom of the fourth.
Game Two: L, 12-0
The Tigers scored three in the first two take an early lead. After adding one more run in the second, they posted five runs in the third for a 9-0 lead. ETBU posted three more runs in the bottom of the fourth, before earning the victory.
Concordia Texas will now aim to regroup before taking on ETBU in the series finale tomorrow at noon.
