MARSHALL, Texas - The Concordia Texas softball team was bested in the series finale with fourth-ranked East Texas Baptist University. Kylie Kirk & Grace Coleman both scored for the Tornados on Saturday.

Kirk & Coleman both reached base before Addison Lehew doubled to left field to score Kirk. Mayson Post then put the ball in play for a fielder's choice RBI that scored Coleman heading into the bottom of the first where ETBU tied the game with a pair of runs of their own.

The Tigers then pulled away with 11 runs in the bottom of the second as both teams tightened up defensively & neither team scored again.

Concordia Texas will now head to Abilene, Texas for a series with Hardin-Simmons University. First pitch is set for Friday, March 22nd at 4pm.
