CLARKSVILLE, Arkansas - The Concordia Texas softball team blanked the University of the Ozarks by a score of 9-0.
Addison Lehew hit her first homerun of the season, while
Kylie Kirk notched her seventh. Freshman
Mayson Post tossed a two-hit, complete game at Clarksville High School on Friday.
Both teams were relatively quiet through the first three frames for a 0-0 score. Kirk then put CTX on the board with a solo homer to left center in the fourth.
The Tornados then exploded for six runs in the fifth, highlighted by a two-run dinger to centerfield by Lehew. Concordia then put on the finishing touches in the victory with a two-RBI triple by
Kylie Pavlicek that scored
Caylee Spangle and
Megan Hooper in the top of the seventh.
