MARSHALL, Texas - In day two of the ASC Tournament, the Concordia Texas softball team was bested by a score of 10-2 against ETBU. Freshman Kylie Kirk homered at Jason Bell Park. Kirk is now tied for first all-time in single-season homeruns with her 11th on Friday.
The Tornados got on the scoreboard first when Addison Lehew slapped an infield single to score Kirk in the top of the first. East Texas Baptist responded with five runs in the first and two in the second for a 7-1 advantage.
Kirk trimmed the deficit to 7-2 when she powered her homer to right centerfield. The Tigers would collect two more insurance runs in the fourth & another run in the bottom of the fifth to secure the run-rule victory.

Concordia Texas will now take on either Hardin-Simmons or LeTourneau tomorrow with a spot to the championship round on the line. First pitch is scheduled for 2pm.
