WHITNEY, Texas - The Concordia Texas golf program opened up their fall campaign at the SCAC Preview hosted by the University of St. Thomas. A trio of Tornados secured top-15 finishes in the two-round tourney at the White Bluff Golf Resort.

Samantha Miethke (83-92-175) led the ladies with a 12th-place finish and 18 pars. The women's team competed as individuals at the SCAC preview as Hailey LeMaire fired an even 100-100-200 with the team's lone birdie, while Paige Zehner (111-99-210) improved by a field-best 12 strokes between the two rounds.

On the men's side, the Tornados finished eighth overall. Parker Smith (75-78-153) & Kaden English (71-82-153) tied for 13th-place. English led the entire field with 24 pars & he tallied the team's only Eagle. 

Newcomers Ryan Rios (82-80-162) & Adrian Rodriguez (88-76-166) both showed improvement between the days, while Koke Dolce rounded out the team scoring at 88-96-184. Freshman Jack Mara had a solid debut as individual competitor with a score of 84-88-172.
