ROUND ROCK, Texas - In a day where 15 seniors were honored, the Concordia Texas men's soccer team upended the Howard Payne Yellow jackets in thriller fashion by a score of 2-1. Senior Marco Casulli hammered the game winner with only three seconds left inside the Round Rock multipurpose Complex on Saturday.

The Tornados almost tripled their counterparts with 19-6 (8-3 SOG) shots. It was a quiet first half on the scoreboard as we heading into the break tied 0-0. The Yellowjackets broke free first with a goal in the 60th minute. 

With only five minutes left, Concordia found the equalizer when a corner kick by Antonio Rios found Ahmad Alhendi for a backside header in the 86th. With time waning & both teams pressing, Theo Givens passed to Casulli on the left side of the box who then streamed a weak-footed goal into the bottom left of the net. 

Concordia Texas will now shift their focus to conference play as they will head to Abilene, Texas to take on McMurry next Saturday, September 28th at 7pm.
